My very first post said: 'Emergency brake?'

i know you adjust the emergency brake. you can't get the pads on without adjusting (pushing in, but even then it’s not really a precision adjustment it is just resetting it) the emergency brake. GM, VW and what ever else has rear disk brakes (excluding BMW).

I was talking about calipers, just plain old calipers, front and rear BMW calipers, they are not adjustable. I assumed we were all talking about BMW, (because of the forum). I'll have to be more thorough and specific next time.

when i said you don't adjust brakes ever i meant you never have to adjust them once they are installed. they don't hurt your gas mileage, they don't slow you down etc.

so you won't ever have to sit at home and say, well i guess i better go out and adjust my brakes... this is why adjusting brakes (emergency) does NOT help your gas mileage unless you put them in wrong. So the original post was kind of silly or incredibly unspecific. If that what you really meant, epj3 then say "make sure your emergency brake is adjusted properly"

Why does it agitate you that I was right [???1] [:(]
No no, read again.

ridicules the original poster, EPJ, who was right (which agitates me).

What I was trying to say was the *ridiculing* agitated me; because you were right and IMO didn't deserve it.

Let's get back to the original topic and have some *real* fun - where is nickvelevski??? - I really want to hear more about his test runs with this amazing device. [fake]

it kind of hard to explain my inflection with plain text.

I guess its hard to tell how i said it, but i was just asking...

thats probably a good reason people get so mad on forums, they just take everything the worst way possible.

It was a rhetorical question, dude.

Yes I read the original post. The purpose of the post was to shift the topic back to the original, and drop the brake thing.....

I guess I should have said:

"Well, let's not post anything until nickvelevski comes back." [scratch]

Nope, I doubt they take the time to come and try to convince people that their product is effective, after they KNOW that they will gain no business by it. (Atleast I hope so..)

I leave for Ghana tomorrow morning, and when I come back in a week or so, will do some testing 0-80 with my new Beltronics Vector. Will keep you posted. I will do 5 runs with and 5 runs without. Until then keep posting your entertaining views. I will have a lot of reading to catch up when I get back. [cheers]
It's been all but 2 weeks. I gotta see his test results. Where is he?
