Don't buy anything until you at least look at Klipsch. In my opinion they are the best this side of $5,000.00, but you can go way more on them, but the lower priced $500-1500.00 per piece are fantastic.
[werd] ! Some of the best money can buy. I have the old Klipsch Scala's and Bose 901's with my Carver system. Wouldn't trade for anything.

I have a great $400 Pioneer system in my room.... don't really remember the last time I used them :-/

I like my music with a flavor of a BMW. [:D]

Also, cayotee...

Why do you want to buy a sound system with your "petty cash" thats worth more than your car? [confused]

Being on BMW board I would think you would have different priorities. [werd]

Dude.. you are a parasite... you live off your parents. [:D]

In my family everyone lives off me. [wave] [driving]
It's called being supported by your parents, most children live this way. At least I'm not a lying sack of shit and I'm not an asshole about it, you stupid jerkoff. Keep on going with your porn industry, I bet you've made so much money and you're so successful with it, and you'll get real far. [rolleyes]

Emile,

Post above needs to be deleted by mods; it simply brings about/adds too much un-needed tension. You should really keep it down... it would be too d$ick of me to suggest otherwise. I guess it is your choice to not post anymore and I respect that. People know that my posts should be taken with a shot of wine; there are certain remarks that should not be taken to heart. Anyways, I oppologize for whatever caused you or anyone else dispair. Now it is time to make up for those shots not taken.

Best Regards,

Don't call me by my first name, you don't know me. Review what you have posted in this thread and you'll see that most of your comments were poor. Coyotefreek wants some home theater advice and you're being all nosey asking him where he got the money from, and making fun of that. If you have no advice to offer then just don't say anything instead of worthlessly post-whoring, especially if you're gonna be a jerk. You said it yourself, "post count doesn't equal IQ".

Its not my cash, its my dads, we have been waiting till we get a new house before we get a new entertainment system. I am responsible for finding, buying, and setting up everything.

In my room I have a 20" Sharp Aquos LCD TV connected to a JVC mini system, soon to be a 5.1 surround sound unit once I am in the new house.

Oh.. thanks for clearing that up.. I was afraid I would be targeted by mafia now or sometihng. Looks like a nice house overall but still not too sure about why it is soo expensive.. must be a CA thing.. do you have fire insurance? Best of lucks and wish for my next one too. [thumb]

I have a cheap 12" tv in my room. We have a large screen downstairs but for some reason I am very satisfied with what I have.

Prices of houses vary significantly based on location. Quality of the neighborhood, taxes, land, location, distance from highways, etc. A $400,000 house can easily be worth $800,000 in the right neighborhood...hell, easily even more. Cost of land alone can go from $100,000 to $1 million over time...just from supply and demand...less land available, quality of the land, location, blah blah blah. When it comes to real estate, it's not really what a house or property is "worth", it's more about how much people are willing to pay for it...that raises its "worth" and value. I'm not speaking out of my ass, my dad is a developer in real estate, I know this stuff well.

Our house went up by 65% in value during the last 7 years. Mostly due to our city's growing respect and their "we have to much money so we are going to rebuild all schools and buildings and give every student free ibook [xx(]" attitude. This place is soo dumb. Cleveland as a whole is firing 140 police officers and firefighters and cutting school week to 4 days due to budget problems... what are we thinking? [screwy]
