e30fr3@k, listen to xLibelle he has made a good point. You wrote that a lot of people read the thread, but from what you wrote prior to that it still doesn’t give much more of an idea about how many women drive BMW’s and post on the forum. Most people that read it are guys probably thinking something else (big surprise). Second if you studied psychology further, or more importantly sociology you would understand that most people don’t like to be deceived. As for the women on the board I believe all of them to be both intelligent and confident because they entered an environment that is known to be dominated by men. I also believe that if you had done just as xLibelle wrote and been direct you would have gotten more responses from women instead of men. Just my $.02

i don't see what women's confidence or intelligence has to do with anything. i never doubted them in either of the two. just because there are a lot of views doesn't mean there will be a lot of female responses. think about it. it's only a sample of a given population. you're saying that if a girl/woman (who fit the description of 18-25 and drives a bimmer) were to find this thread, they wouldn't post because they have been "decieved." i don't think that's the case at all. i believe that the number of female posts in that age range merely demonstrates the fact that there are so few female bmw owners in this age range.
