Poor should be given chance to improve themselves. If they do not, its their doom. I do not aprove of those people who take advantage of the government all their lives and are too lazy to find work.

The real solution is to find an alternative energy, not an alternative source. What we need is to electricity what electricity is to fossile fuel. Think back before electricity, when street lights were gas, and stoves were coal. The paradigm change from that to electric lights, motors, and heat is what we need for the next century. It's out there, we just have to find it (anitmatter?).

I definately aggree with Push on that one. When talking about chemistry the product is made by combining the smallest possible portions. Therefore, technically water is a product of Hydrogen and Oxygen.

there are cars driven by hydrogen. their "exhaust" is water. problem of that fuel is that hydrogen has to be transported in the car and everybody knows how dangerous hydrogen is.

Check this article

biodiesel is really more or less a joke although there are several cars in germany that run on that material. actually you can run them on old french fries oil. no joke that really exists

I don't mean to get into this with you again, but you can't burn water, so technically you can't run an engine on water.

You can run an engine on hydrogen.

2H + O -> H2O

Fuel + Oxidizer -> By Product

Abdoman is correct. So far, no one has figured out how to efficiently combust water....

well technically thats not entirely true, steam engines and neuclear reactors use heated water to generate the power. and you could break down water molecules to give hydrogen and oxygen in the engine. just wouldn't particularly want to crash one[:D]
