MyHarley, I agree with most of what you said however I think you are making too broad of a statement. If you go thru this post you can see that almost all the bitterness and name-calling was between me and hitman. I've never liked that guy and his comments and remarks in this thread, and the other one he created were too much for me to let go. I stand by all of the posts that I authored, however I'll admit that towards the end my choice of words was totally uncalled for and childish. That I will account to my age and my bad temper. All of the posts I made were in reaction to other posts by various members of the board and I feel they communicate my view point quite well. Anything that I said here I would not have hesitated to say if we were in a conference room having a debate.

Also, the direction this thread took was not directly related to Anna in any way. The main people to blame for all of this are me and hitman. Anna's list should not have meant anything and if you look at the time-stamps on the other thread that he directed towards Anna you will see that the fighting started between us before she posted the list. I think it is unfair to say that she is to blame for any of this. All she did was post her pictures on this board. It was hitman that created a thread directed to her with his picture in it. Anna is not responsible for what hitman did or for how he acted.

Pink, you need to read my post again and again and again. Never in that post does it blame Anna or put Anna down in any shape or fashion. Yes, in my opinion she was wrong for grading the members of this post. Yes, in my opinion, I do not think Anna meant any malice but having some what she thought was harmless fun. The best intentions do not always come out as planned. My statement was general in terms of all the threads on this board. It is at least once a week that somebody takes great offense to something that is said in these posts. I appreciate the fact that you can accept responsibility for your actions. Never did I doubt that you would accept that responsibility. My post was a reminder for all of us to pay more attention to what we say to each other, irregardless of male or female, young or old, black or white, BMW or other car, rich or poor, Democrat or Republican, etc. etc. etc. etc.

I'm pretty sure irregardless isn't a real word. Regradless means without regard. Irregular means not regular. So irregardless is a double negative. From the office of redundancy office - Do you enter you PINnumber at the ATM machine? Do you have DSL line? What's your car's VIN number?

Physical and opinion differences are essential for the animal (and human) existance to continue. Its like genetic mismatch... if an epidemic would hit a population, some would survive because of "defects". So I might be very conservative and very liberal in some points... but that is all for good. . We must press on our believes so we get more people who believe like us... so that when/if something does happen we could all survive. [fake]

Ahh, someone has pressed the grammar button. Now that really gets my juices flowing.

Irregardless is not a standard word. It is a colloquialism that has infected our language to such an extent that people actually believe it is standard. Irregardless is akin to "ain't" in my mind. We all know that "ain't" is slang (ie., nonstandard). Using the word "ain't" a million times does not render it standard, and its usage in a sentence is grammatically incorrect.
