the ford diesel (which is the one i would get) gets 15- 20 mpg[:D] even if you lift it that high!! all you do is change the gearing and your set.................................

oh yea!!!! with a diesel not only do you get that kinda gas mileage but you also get 350 hp and 540 lb/ft of torque, diesel out here cost less then even 87 octane so whats the big deal??? that would just be a toy anyway!! i didnt say it be my only car.................

chevy doesnt offer diesel in the suburban so in that percpective!! the Excursion is a better buy and you get more room, way more room.

FYI

They are cracking down on Diesel emmisions out here right now.

yes your right.....but for this same reason diesel technology has been forced to improve emmision problems, so the newer diesel engines are far less polluting then the one's 10 years ago, also diesel engines are getting more popular because they can out power, out mpg, and out live any gas powered motor around, diesel engines have been known to go for 500,000 miles on the clock with no hesitation, but yes it has its down sides, it can be loud and smelly although so far right now Ford has developed the most powerful diesel out of ford chevy and dodge but yet its also the quietest.

but no matter what BMW friggin rule's baby!!!!!!!!!!!!![:D]

I will never have a ford.
You'd never buy one of these?!?!

That's my dream car, and it's made by a ford company. So I'm pretty sure you're going to take back those words of "I will never have a ford"
