New iMac G5

I put together a fully loaded G5 for about 18 grand. But I would never buy it. Maybe a regular priced Mac.

...That being said, I do like what Apple has to offer and I'm actually in the market for a laptop and my #1 choice is the Apple iBook G4. It offers surprising bang for the buck (especially considering I'm going with the 12.1" screen which makes for a very light weight of 4.9lbs) and Apple is good at making laptops....

Hey, MrE, I'm not sure how you're planning on using your laptop, but if ultra portability is your objective, I bought this toshiba and have been real happy with it. I networked it with my desktop so I just wirelessly print, back up files at home, surf the net, etc. without cords. I beat it up for two years in law school and it's still ticking. It's a great wireless devise. I don't know of a smaller, full keyboard laptop out there. .7" thick....2.4 lbs. I love it!
