For buying a million dollar house, your cars you own arent too impressive. Does everyone make more there and everything cost more?
People make more I guess and yes, everything does cost more compared to many places in the middle of the US. Million dollar house in Bel Air oughta be tiny. Hell, a million dollar house in Santa Monica is tiny. Well, I guess it depends on your definition of tiny. Masachusetts shouldn't be that much cheaper than SoCal though.

Yeah, thank you so much. Comment on the cheapness of my cars or the shitty Mil dollar shack i must be living in. I didn't say how much Bel Air is, and im not going to. Im sorry i didn't meat you high expectations. What did ya expect... A bentley.. a Ferrari... What do you drive buddy?

On side note, i saw the episode just now... They edited weird almost like to tell a story. It looked liek they cut and paste clips from day 1 and day 5 next to each other, but hey, thats reality TV. They did show the hot tub sceen, but just for like 5 secs, plus some fat guys head was in my way.

Those cars looked pretty nice to me. Not every rich person in LA drives some exotic. It's usually only the people who have some kind of image to maintain. My uncle makes somewhere in the $5M/yr range and all he has is a S500 and his wife has an E320 station wagon. He's just a businessman so no paparazzi cares what the hell he drives and he's got no clue as to what real luxury is so that's what he drives. When he pulls into his country club, it's expensive enough and that's all that matters.

I don’t think that is a good gauge of wealth. Example, there is a guy here locally that drives a Ferrari and an H2 and by all appearances one would think he has money. Actually, the opposite is true. According to his mortgage banker, the guy is a paycheck from BK. He has an interest only loan on his house because he could not qualify otherwise due to his car payments.

Somehow people always have strange ideas about wealth and think that it would always result in super exotic cars like the Lambo everyone talks about. I find this strange and have not noticed it to be true. There is a well-off writer here in town, worth about 7-10 million, that drives a Honda SUV and a trial attorney with a 450.00/hour rate driving an Accord. And not to forget the Fortune 100 executive friend of my wife’s with stock options in the millions that drives a Buick.

To some people they are only cars.

Didn't mean to offend you. If you want to know my house I own is $629,000 in Eastern MA, worth about $300,000 in western MA, and I drive a 2003 M3 all the time, 1995 M3 whenever I feel like 240 hp, and restoring a 1990 M3. I only buy BMW's by choice. My girlfriend drives a C230 her dad bought her but the lease is up soon so maybe I will get another E46. :) I certainly do not make enough to buy a million dollar house. A couple of my friends do own 4 million plus dollar houses (my boss) and it only has 2 rooms more than mine, but he drives 2 Lamborghinis and 2 Ferraris specifically, along with an M5 and a CLK AMG. He also has 4 kids. Usually if you have a lot of cash, at least over here on the East Coast, you are driving pretty expensive cars too.

I'm now accepting funds for my college donation account :). Paypal all funds to jared@caudiophile.com lol!

Man, my parents combined make just around $70k a year. Proves an education is a necessity! They work their tails off, working 60 hour weeks.
