Im moving... AGAIN... Not very far.

The home in beverly hills we bought, someone just offered us $1.4M, from our original $1 M we paid.

But even better news, Im moving in a very "upscale" neighboorhood, not saying Beverly hills isn't upscale enough though... Its a community off Sunset Blvd in white gates. and guess what town its in.. BEL AIR! BEL FREAKIN AIR. Im asuming all you that livei n LA know why im excited about Bel Air [|)]

But theres one annoying thing. Yesterday, i saw 5 LA site seeing busses going through my neighboorhood. We asked the neighboors what they are doing, and it turns out LA site seeing buses are showing tourist CELEBRITY houses. and guess what celebrity house im near!!!!!!! The real estate agent told us this story of this unfinished house Mike Tyson was building. He ended up running out of money and he never finished the house. He has a hugggggeee parking garage you can see looks liek it can store 20 cars. Im surprised it just sits here and no ones finishing it, or gonna buy it and finish it.

And the Best news, My "Star-Shoked" weekend. I saw my first Star since i moved here. [:)] I was so excited and like OMG! This isn't some Allegra Versace nobody, this is the real thing. I saw Shannon Dohrity, (the girl Erin spelling fired from the show Beverly hills 90210 for having a "diva-like" behavior) shopping on 3rd Street Promenade, aka Santa Monica Place. There were like 10 photographers taking her picture, and she was really pissed. She was yelling and liek PMS. I was afraid to talk to her but im still STAR-Shocked!!!

Then i was out about sunset stripe again and found these new clubs, House of blue, skybar, the roxy, etc, and they are reallly great [drinking] !!!

Anyone that live in LA, do you know like the streets im talking about? I know someone lives in hollywood here, and some other people as well [wave] , if so where, (just wondeirng, im not a stalker) some of my friends lives on Fairfax, bundy and another has a reallly big home in the hollywood hills.

Im just learning all the streets. If you know any good main streets you think i should know, tell me.

My sister, who lives in malibu now, showed me Ocean Ave up to Santa Monica Blvd, up to Bundy Dr. and also Hollywood Blvd. The night life is so amazing, i love it.


Plz respond, i hate starting threads and checking back a week later with 0 replys... (other threads i posted.. [:(] )

your absolutely right. Is was a steal, and it went up so fast. I live in this house what not even 2 weeks and make a $400,000 profit [|)]

Bel Air is the nicest part of town. [thumb]
Then i think Brentwood, but i don't know too much about brentwood.

It's hard to say which is a nicer town, Bel Air or Brentwood. Prolly comes down to personal preferences. Beverly Hills has a ghetto section. That's what's pretty funny.

You should get over your star shock soon. That is, unless, you go all "Hollywood" and become star obsessed. After a while, watching someone chew food or window shopping gets really boring.

Mike Tyson is in bankruptcy proceedings. That house is being sold. Hopefully the tour buses will stop driving by soon unless there's another celebrity in your neighborhood (quite possible).

If I ever get rich, I'm buying a house in the Hollywood Hills. I think it's much closer to the "action" while still having a great view and neighborhood without the riff raff constantly driving through your neighborhood. Bel Air and Brentwood are too far away IMO.

This is 1 Million. I bet it is a beautiful house. I sure would move in and live in So. Cal. But this is about what 1 million buys.

PS-The house is 2300 Sq Ft. and looks like a very average size and type of home but well maintained and in a nice area.

Do you knwo where i live, like the community? I have to find the other cross street when i drive by again, but i know its off sunset blvd and its a white entrance that says Bel Air. Bel Air is not very far from Beverly Hills.

so you know about the house im talking about! have you seen it? Do you know how long its been there. That would be cool if other celebritys lived here. Im not used to this kinda stuff so of course ill be star-shocked.

The hollywood hills are really nice, they are just as much as Beverly hills.

Do you know 3rd street promenade? Pretty cool shopping area [thumb]

EDIT: I just wanted to know anyone that been on hollywood blvd b4, did you ever go through those museums? Theres a wax museum, and guinese world record museum, and something else. i only did the wax museum and it sucked! i want my $$$ back [bigcry]

I have been in the Hollywood Blvd/Sunset/Wilshire area many times, the only thing worth doing are the restaurants and clubs. Most of the tourist stuff in that area is crap, just looking at it from the outside makes me go the other way.

I get out there frequently on business and personal travel. My brother in law used to live in Sherman Oaks, he moved about a year ago to the Santa Monica area, less than a mile from the Ocean. Jamie Lee Curtis is his neighbor.

If you want some real fun go hang out at Hollywood and Vine. [rofl]

haha i did hollywood and vine, thats where the kodak theater is and thats where all those muesuems are, plus the Mann's Romans theater.

Hey i just wanted to add, tonight, i think, i think its going to be playing everywhere, but i know cali for a fact.

Tonight on MTV around 8:30-10 pm (not sure what time check the tv guide) is a brand new episode of the Newlyweds. They show new ones wensdays and this one is a very special one!!

The episode is them staying at the Scottsdale Princess hotel (MY MOMS OLD WORK) and its just really cool to see it on t.v. They actually came to scottsdale in April/May right before some show on VH1 Called "VH1 Divas" with patti Labelle, Joss Stone, etc... So if your not doing anything tonight, watch the newlyweds and you can see what scottsdale is like! I remebr when they were actually here i was at the princess certisy of my mom [;)]

I'm not familiar with that house or your neighborhood. My g/f got a place out in West LA so I'm there often. Have to drive past Bel Air and Brentwood often cuz those places are next to where she works and her coworkers live just north of those cities. Still getting to know the area. I only know the rich areas cuz of an internship I did. The law firm where I worked at was across from I think the Biltmore Hotel. One of those super fancy ones. But I had to drive through Beverly Hills periodically when running errands for them. The Tyson stuff I know about cuz someone at the firm was representing somebody in some lawsuit that he was involved in. I had to go through all these checks he'd written and organize them and stuff. I couldn't believe how stupid that man is. I think he's got the mental capacity of a 5 year old child. After that, I just paid attentioned to his finances out of sheer morbid curiosity (ok, I was nosy). I like Hollywood Hills cuz I worked on a dispute over some mansion up there. Had to look at blueprints, pictures, etc. of houses all over there. I really liked that area after seeing all that stuff.

My Mom makes the most $$ money in the family, but we shouldn't talk about money because last time it was brought up everyone was fighting and i was got in trouble, so no money talk. [spank] [hatchet]

But if you wanta knwo what my mom does, shes a General Manager for Fairmont hotels. She also runs public relations and knows of any famous people staying at a fairmont hotel.

Right now, i just found out Britney spears is Staying at a Fairmont Kea Lani (pronounced KAY LANEE) in Hawaii with her Fiance, Kevin Finderline. Here is proof




Previous celebrity guest include Miss Paris Hilton =D, Julie Roberts, The Beckhems (Posh and Becks), and XXXtina aguilera


BTW if any of you want, i might be able to get you a friends and family rate on some hotels. I think the only hotels i could get a discount on are the Fairmont Alcapuco princess, The Scottsdale Princess, and the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica. They never discount Hawaii because its always sold out 3-5 months in advace. The rate is 59$ a night and 29$ valet parking with 50% off food/ mini bar. Without rate, i think rooms like a casita would be 2500$ a night and a normal room is $800.. But thats only if they are not booked, and i like ya [;)]
