jungle, funny. you don't trsust the park brake so you put that thingy under the rear tire. but then you want to take the monster of road? well i wonder where the potential for damage is higher, at a maybe disfunction of the park brake or off road??? but still, it looks too crazy.

have fun with it, oh and get a gaz for the bimmer too while you have the card [hihi]

The thing wtih the chalk block(the block behind the wheel) is that the military make you put it there just for safety sake. However I don't think I have heard of any parking brake failures. If it is loose all you have to do it turn the end of the lever and it will tighten it up.

Yeah, I suppose it would be good for knock over some Honda's

The doc hit it straight on the head. It is a safety type deal. Sae with the oil drain pan that is supposed to go under it that they never gave me. I would trust that vehicle over any other to go offroading in. The doc was also right about the CTIS (central Tire Inflation System) not being present on the HMMWV. Take in mind that this is a military vehicle. 24 volt system, no AC, radio, or nice plush comfy seats. I would still take this stripped down nasty dirty thing over a brand new H2, Tahoe, Durango, Navigator, or Escalade any day.
