Yeah, I just did some research. This other guy did the same thing I did, but with his right rear wheel. His repair total came out to freaking $8,000 but he needed two new rims ($900 each, $1,800 total) and two new tires ($270 each, $540 total). Since I don't need any new rims or tires, I am off the hook for about $2,300 but that still puts me in the $5K-$6K range worth of repairs.
And the worst part is, the left rear suspension won't be 100% back to normal....more like 90% back. Because the suspenion isn't designed to bend left and right much and the wheel is slanted at an angle, like this "\". So basically, I am pretty much royally screwed.
I hope that somehow, miraculously, the repairs aren't that much and I get my car back mad quick. I just do not feel complete without my car.
2,300 miles and I have permanently messed up this car...I feel like the worst G35 owner in the world...all my hand-washing, wheel-wiping, garage-parking, etc. was all worthless thanks to what I did to it today.
