nice! i didnt realize so many of you listened to good music. i was afraid that most of you would be into r&b, pop, or some top 40's crapola.

Bear, seems like you and i are on the same level with the music. Revolting Cocks are coming out with a new album, so is lard and ministry (al's a busy bee these days). i got pretty big into industrial when i was in high school so i appreciate bands like skinny puppy, sisters of mercy, einsturzende neubauten....
i even like stuff adamsonem listed like cky, rasputina (umm not the mc hammer though... your on your own there buddy... )
[rofl]

oh and lords of acid are great!
Heh. I was thinking of changing my screen name on here to Hypo Luxa or Hermes Pan. You'd probably be the only one on here to get it. [cheers]
1000 Homo DJ's aren't bad. I'll have to try some of those other bands you listed. I've heard of Lard. Pailhead is pretty decent too. I've been out of the Industrial scene for a while....and KMFDM breaking up floored me. I guess Gunter and Sascha couldn't agree anymore. At least Sascha came out with MDFMK. Their first album was pretty stinkin' good.

Rock on!

yeah the kmfdm breakup was pretty bad. i cant say that i love the only mdfmk album out there. a few tracks are good. however kmfdm is still alive with their cd that came out nearly a year ago "attak" which is a descent album. they also did a cover of 'boots' which is great.

en esch formed his own band with another former kmfdm guru called 'slick idiot'. and they have a couple cd's out worth taking a gander over.

im looking out for the soundtrack to the movie 'underworld' which comes out sept 4th (the sndtrk) which should have some descent music up there im hoping.

oh yeah, and i dunno if its a rumor or not, but supposedly 1000 homo djs is coming out with a new one as well...

I thought Adios was KMFDM's last album. I'll have to check around for Attak. I heard the 'boots' cover. Not bad. They did a Madonna cover which is awesome!!!
I have an En Esch CD he made before he left KMFDM. It's a little weird...but then again so is he.
As for MDFMK, I like the song Torpedoes. [headbang]
I can't believe someone else is actually into all of this stuff. I haven't been into it (like over my head into it) for years. All my friends from high school were into it, but once we graduated and I moved, I haven't found anyone else that likes it. [xx(]

Another good band to check out is Dark Illumination.
If you like KMFDM, you'll love 'em!

Paul Oakenfold - Dance Techno
George Acosta - Dance Techno/House

I'm not a big fan of R&B. I'm not sure why. It just doesn't appeal to me. My sister loved it...so maybe I view it as chick music.....but dance mucic is usually chick music too. I guess I was more impressionable when I was younger. [;)]

Technically Oakie started out as a trance DJ and made his way to being a House DJ, but he never spun tech. George Acosta is more along the lines of UK Hardhouse now with Jon the Dentist, Bad Boy Bill, and Dimitri. And Louie Devito spins Hard Trance and Club House

Personal Favorites:
Seb Fontaine - trance
Kimball Collins - trance
Sandra Collins - trance
Frankie Bones - Techno/ Tek house
Bad Boy Bill- House / Hard House
Jon The Dentist - UK Hard House
Jon Bishop - Nu-NRG/ Hard House
Dimitri - UK hard house/ Garage
Aphrodite - Jungle
Dara - D&B
XRS - jungle
Jungle Brothers - guess
Delerium - Hardcore/hard house
Club Caviar - Hard House
Cristopher Lawerance - Trance
Dieselboy - D&B
AK 1200 - Jungle
Icey - breaks
Plump DJ's - breaks
DJ Micro - house/trance/breaks
Boston Bruins - Breaks/ House
Tool - kick ass
early Deftones
Janes Addiction
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Sublime
Ben Harper
Pearl Jam
Resevoir Dogs Soundtrack
Pulp Fiction Soundtrack
Tripping Daisy
Sammy Davis Jr.

Great driving song! I was actually gonna say that one, but my list was already pretty long.

...speaking of which.....Flashlight Brown is a pretty cool new punk band. I need to get their CD so I can listen to them in my car.

Wow... I have barely heard of any of these. I dont follow any modern music except people who have been around for a while. I like Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead (may Jerry rest in peace[:(] ), Neil Young, The Who, Janis Joplin, Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Doors, etc.
