It's all good, everyone seems nice enough, as long as the propper amount of respect is given.

Don't worry, one day I'll be a regular on this board, just as soon as I get my hands on a pristine '95 E36 M3 CSL, then we can fight over whether or I should modify such a beast...hehe.

[???1] sorry, but there were only two cars that carry the name CSL. the one is way older than 95 while the recent one is not even available in the US. what's up with your M# CSL plan? or do you mean a self-built CSL?

i just found it too. it is right, the 95 series ghad a special series, the LTW. according to several sources i found they did build 125 cars from it. aluminum doors, different seats and several other parts made the car about 200lbs lighter than a regular M3. engine modifications were not done.

LTW INFO

here is a little on the LTW:

-production from 8/95 to 10/95
-125 made
- aluminum doors, no underhood sound deadening, no ac, no sunroof, no radio head (speakers and amp were still there though) no trunck tool kick, and light weight forged allow wheels.
-225lbs lighter in weight
LED Brake light on the trunk
- sport seats in cloth only
- carbon fiber trim
- GT Trunk kit
- dual pick up oil pan
- same tranny (ZF S5D 310Z) but had a 3.23 differential
0-60 5.8 seconds
0-1/4 mile 13.9 seconds

See, I may be a n00b here, but I'm not so confused after all, all I got was the name wrong...lol.

well, reading through the articles, i found one that said the car had a label inside somewhere that reads "...M3 US CSL..."
technically you did not even mess up the name.

Thanks Tom, this site is beautiful, it reminds me of my S2K site, clean and fast. I may put some pix in the gallery, I didn't want to offend (you know, bringin' a lesser car [honest]), but I was quite proud of the dyno #'s I put up today; 210 HP/278 Torque! And yes, she's only got 52K on her clock, she's a screamer :).

Thanks Wadula, I just found the same thing with a quick Google search. Is that Bela Lugosi in your Avatar?

You have any pics of burnouts or anything? Those are usually pretty cool pics [:)]

When i get a car and need a new set of tires, I'm letting the old tires go out with a scream...literally.
