but i'm sort of proud. it just takes 8 pages to get over a conflict. ain't that nice? [thump]

i think the best way for being sure that nothing happens to your engine is to use a dealer or manufacturer that is approved by BMW. furthermore it would help if the mod dioes not have effect on the warranty. in that case the offered mod might not be the hottest stuff and others might deliver more power and stuff, but at least it is a reliable and risk minimizing alternative.

Now this is a $1M dollar question QUICK...

If your car was faster then Ferrari SPIDER, would you keep your own car or get the Ferrari? If you choose to trade,.. that would mean that even though it is not as high performance-oriented, you love an idea of owning a Ferrari and live by the company's high reputation and THE NAME. However, if you choose to keep your ultra fast Honda you are only interested in performance and the name/brand does not apply to you since most of the stuff is replaced anyways. So which one would it be?
If the world was a simple place.....

A ferrari spider in stock form would be an okay machine to drive....but I can sense you have little motorsports love or knowledge.

In the racing world all that matters is who wins....doesnt really matter how or why so much as you win....the details are interesting side notes.

In life you will someday reach a crossroads and will have to ask yourself one simple question.......do the clothes make the man or does the man project that image on his own.....while LOOKING like you have money matters to some.....HAVING money is more important in reality

In this case most avg people see a ferrari and think "fast" regardless of year, power, value etc... the civic may put down 535whp and run low 11's on street tires and trap 136mph......which do you think I would rather have.......I would take the performance every time.....eventually youll see that to get respect you have to earn it....you cant buy it....blowing the doors off a poseur in a ferrari will get you respect....other ferrari owners will catch on and will also come to respect you.....

Being a man is more than just buying the most expensive car you can find....all that takes is money.....driving a car that makes 600+hp on the street to its full potential takes balls....having a huge set gets you more respect than having some cash in the bank.

Respect is what legends are made of.......money is a side bar of men of great respect...funny how that works out huh?

There have been many threads about HP, modifications for more HP.............how many HP does one really need off the track, read carefully, I said "OFF THE TRACK"..........do we ever talk about the safety of our roads, how many lives are endangered by excess speed, do you think someone gives you extra notches or a thumbs up when you pass them on the road doing 140 MPH or beat them to the red light........you know if you really want that red light first, couldnt we just leave the house earlier....... [???1] [paranoid]

Life does not revolve around one winning "momment" and I tend to have a car that doesn't concentrate on that. Life should concentrate on "the process" of modding a car or enjoying its reputation. When you boil anything to its roots you can argue for or against any car. As long as you enjoy what you have and able to retrieve benefits you are after, you have the perfect car. To one person its winning the race, to another its power of control, and yet to the third its the joy of being the only guy in the city to have one. It is a complicated game that differs its rules based on who you are playing with. I conclude this argument with these last thoughts.

to all you fellow rice haters- quickcivicdudes car is not what i would define as rice. sure, its a honda. BIG ***KING DEAL!!!!!!! i drove one for a year, they arent bad cars, although i wouldnt buy one. i dont see any spoiler that goes above the roof or any ugly ass lights or a underglow kit or a snow plow in the front.

just my 2 cents
(btw i didnt have time to read the whole thread)

Getting back to that Ferrari Spyder thing you know it wouldn't be too bad to had a civic that did the same speeds at that. Just imagine the look on some guys face when you totally destroy himnin his so called EXOTIC. Would be fun wouldn't it ?

that reminds me of 800HP e36 M3 videos I posted previously. M3 blew the hell of Diablo on the highway... the driver was looking back and forth.. puzzled... that was the best!!
