Winodws XP question

Whenever I start typing something in yahoo or google, all the past search words I've typed in the past (starting with the same letter) appears in a drop down menu. Does anyone know how to delete this? I'm hoping to avoid some embarassing moments if someone else uses my computer and tries to search for something that starts with SE...know what I mean? I think it happens with other programs that I'm running so I'm wondering if it's a Windows XP thing. Anyone??

Go to Tools->Internet Options->"Content" tab at the top->press the "AutoComplete" button->then press the "Clear Forms" button. You can also turn off the feature in that window.

if theres one particular word you want to delete when it appears in the drop down menu, highlight it and press teh delete key
