[wave] I am at work now.

I post a lot from work also, but who is going to fire me [fake]

I guess I could be fired but it better come with a nice check or I will tie the partnership up in court and they know it. I guess you can tell it is not a good work situation I am in but it will be sold soon. [:D]

The Internet gives me a virtual escape.

I'm at work. I do a bunch of coding on my project(s) for an hour or two, then check in here for a mental break. Since I don't smoke or drink coffee, I consider it the equal of others taking a smoke or coffee break. [drinking]

The owner of the company and I (when I wear my VP IS/IT hat) set the policies regarding internet usage. We have a very easy, liberal policy - as long as it's not illegal or bad for the company or customers, it's acceptable. We have hard working employees who work long hours so internet access is pretty much a "perk". We use it A LOT for software development support, VPN access with a couple of business partners, downloads, research, etc. so any "cyber police" attempts would ultimately be a big headache.

Worse case, I can always argue that I am testing our internet connection, firewall, etc.!!! [rofl]

I'm always at work.

....I asked Kirby in another thread if he has any job openings. He probably won't be too interested in me now if he knows I post from work all day! [hihi]
