Damn it is hot this year. At 12:00 noon it is 107 at the weather station by my house and like 100 at the official, 15 feet above a tower to make it look not so bad weather station here.

The weather service just issued an “extreme heat advisory” here for the first time on record (so they say) because the mathematical calculations of heat factors met the criteria for the first time. I hope this is not a summer trend for the next few months.

I hope So. California is better because I am heading there hoping to do something outside.

75 and sunny in the Motor City... we might hit 83 next week! I need to turn on the A/C!!! Whew!

We've had some crazy weather patterns this spring... the jet stream has gone goofy this year...

Is it true out here when you get the wind in conjunction with the extreme heat

it creates a 'convection oven' effect???

Have you seen the new 'Commemorative' Submariner? It has a green bezel...

I've been looking for one here in Vegas and am told their hard to get.

I'll have to get in touch with my jeweler, Ben Bridge. He's from your

'neck-of-the-woods', isn't he???

Cool temps have been ordered and are on the way to Henderson and Las Vegas for paddyLV and Bryan330i [cheers]

I have not seen the 'Commemorative' Submariner", but it sounds nice. Try this web site (under construction) the telephone number is listed. Talk to Mike Haines, the owner. He is a close personal friend of mine and has always given me low low prices on anything he sells and he does carry Rolex. Tell him I referred you, I know you will like his style.

Diamnod Shop

I do believe Ben Bridges is HQ'd here, I can do some checking for you.

Stay cool......................

Thankx, Big Daddy... [thumb]

If you can't get those cooler temp.'s down here I'll just have to keep going back

to Hooters at Sunset Station Casino (here in Henderson) for some more of those

ice cold Heinekens [:p] [cheers]

I bought a stainless GMT Master back in '00, so I thought I'd look into that '50th

Anniversary' Submariner. I just haven't been able to see one in person because

they keep getting bought up. The manager at my B. Bridge says the new colored

bezel is green green and I can't imagine what that would look like.

If I locate one I'll let ya know [wave] .

[wave] AZRobert,

I [driving2] up to Payson a few weeks ago. Real nice there.

You guys in the Phoenix area are normally 6-8 degrees higher than us in the Vegas area...

I'll be back in Payson/Sedona/Scottsdale in a few weeks.

The only thing I hate is I always end up coming back with more 'dings' on my front end.

Thinking about getting a Colgan bra to help minimize the front end damage.

It sure was not as bad as I thought it would be, not that 114 in some areas is not hot but the way it sounded I was thinking like 120+. Cool down on the way for this week they say, back to the 90's and I am all for it, it’s just way too early for the hundred-teens.

Last night was 68 at 8PM south of LA and very nice. I can see why so many people live there buy that traffic is something else.

Yeah, I've been baking but it's been in Kuwait. It's been in the 1teens regularly here. I was in Qatar the other day and it was 95 F at 6:30 in the morning getting up to 117 later that day. "But it's a dry heat." lol
