haha...you are forgetting that General Chat posts don't add to your post count.[;)]

But seriously, I would definately go for the one with more power. If its a commuter car then perhaps the 325 would be more ideal.

yeah i would like the 330CI also but i like the new bodies and 40 g's for a brand new 330ci is too much, i mean c'mon you can get a G35 Coupe for low 30's and it can blow a 330 out of the water.

i wouldn't say "blow" but maybe inch ahead of
and i'd stay away from both cars b/c they are too new.
and too overpriced for what they are. u hold a gun up to
me i'll take the 330, only b/c of the engine, if i had my own
un to hold up o your head when u held your gun up (lol)
then i'd take a 98 528i stick for the same amount of $$

you can find very nice 330Ci. 325ci buyer often have buyer's remorse later on... since when you have it for a short while a year different dissapears... but power remains!

330Ci! The power difference alone is worth it. I don't have buyer's remorse, but that's b/c my family has horrendous luck w/ used cars and very good luck with new cars. Regular people should consider a year old 330Ci if they can find it. If I had wanted power tho, I woulda gotten a G35 coupe for around the price of my car.

Oh, and I think the 330 gets the same mileage as the 325. That's about the only thing that pisses me off.

I got a brand new 2004 325ci because of the looks. I havent driven a 330ci but performance wasnt a huge issue as long as the 325 had enough which is my opinion does. It is a tough choice, and 330 would definitley be more enjoyable to drive performancewise, but I love the new 3 series design and from my research the 0-60 in the 330ci was like 6.4 sec and the 325ci in manual does it in almost 7 flat. Not enough of a difference for me to fork over the extra dough, or in your case to get the older version. But like they say, to each his own. Maybe I would have enjoyed the 330 more but it was too expensive for me, and I definitley do not have buyers remorse. I love my 325 and I admire the 330 but I dont envy them. NOw the M3...theres a different story...

I would probably go with the 2004 325 especially if there's something about the 2004 you really like such as adaptive xenon headlights. Even though I haven't driven one, I'm sure you won't feel the 325 is underpowered. I drove a 318 for 7 years, and I always thought it zipped around nicely. I just spent more time in the upper end of the tach than I would with a larger engine (and never had engine problems). I haven't really wound up my 330 since I'm still breaking it in, but I think it will be hard to use the upper revs very often (traffic, police, killing myself, etc.) [:D]

i'd choose the 330i w/ the stipulation that the privious owner took care of the car. or if i dun plan on keeping it long. (if it was going to be a long term purchase, i would've paid the extra for the 330)

the 330s, besides having more power has better equipment, bigger wheels, tires, etc. the chrome trime around the door also looks better on the 330s.

In real life driving the 330i will swallow up the 325i whole then spit it out of the exhaust. going down the duel carridgeway behind an '03 330cic i was staying with him to 60ish then mid range puch gave him a cars length to 100Mpg then it was Bye Bye to me! against an '04 325i (power to weight and all) I would pull at least one car length to 62 and would only start to be realed in at 130Mph! My choice is the '03 330ci clubsport (looks phat and goes like shit through a goose)[:D]

No question, '03 330. No reason to buy new and take that first year's hit on value - buy CPO or closeout and get a loaded 330... [hihi]
