Which was the best Star Wars film?

Episode 1: Phantom Menace
Episode 2: Attack of the Clones
Episode 4: A New Hope
Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back
Episode 6: Return of the Jedi

My bet would be for Star Wars 4: A new Hope

Episode 4: A New Hope! By far! 2nd would be Return of the Jedi. Distant 3rd is Empire Strikes back which I still found better than the two new ones.

For story lines - A New Hope, followed by Empire Strikes back, then return of the Jedi.

For demoing my big screen TV - Attack of the clones.

A New Hope was the best, second would be Attack of the Clones because of the Yoda fighting scene.

If the dialogue was better in Attack of the Clones then I'd be all for that one, but since the dialogue sucked, I'll go with Return of the Jedi. Also, I'm predicting that Episode 3 will be favorite when it's all said and done. I wish they were making the last 3. Guess I'll have to read the books again.

Dan. Yet another thing we have in common my friend. I'm a massive fan. My wife gives me a lot of grief about it though. It's not on tv here at the moment, but they bring it back every once in a while.

Do you guys watch Conan O'Brian? He has this character called Triumph the Insult Comic Dog go and make fun of the people all dressed up as star wars characters at one of the premiers. Then he had a guy dressed up as Spock come out and give them the finger. It was hilarious, but it looked like half the Star Wars guys were torn cuz I think they're closet Treckies or somehting.

Empire is the best! ANH was a little too cute and the Ewoks in RotJ were lame. Empire had the best dialogue and character development of any of the series. The twist at the end with Vader is one of the best movie cliffhangers of all time. Puppet Yoda is way better than CG Yoda. Can you tell I am a huge Star Wars fan!
