This is horrible. I once thought that a peaceful Middle-East resolution was possible, now I fear not and the violence is instead going to increase. Sharon is now reportedly having the knees shot out of innocent Palestinians and leaving them to die in the streets, and, well we know what the other side is doing. I hope I am wrong but I fear a point of no return, and that conflict resolution options are a thing of the past.

Americans are so ignorant, how can you have peace when you’re dealing with radical terrorists? These people want Christians, Jews and Americans dead…period….end of story. You cannot negotiate with them, and they are willing to die to accomplish their goals, are we?

Yes, and they BOTH are racial terrorists. And I was not so willing to write off a compromise, as others also held out hope. I don’t think many in the US choose to seek true information, they prefer to follow what they are told, and they never question. Interesting way to live.

So, BigDaddy, what do you think about the viewpoints surfacing now, including that of the Vatican, and other Christian leader around the world, that Bush fits the profile of the antichrist?

People said the same thing about Clinton. Remember when he appeared on the cover of TIME and the M was on the top of his head, it represented horns to those trying to prove their point of him being the antichrist........ [???1]

Bush's "Christain" Blood Cult

ONCE AGAIN, Narrow-minded: "lacking in tolerance or breadth of vision"

Cult: Cult leaders are known to use manipulative methods to control the minds of their followers, they discourage free-thinking and operate by controlling information to control the minds of their followers.

BigDaddy, because people do not think like you does not make them narrow minded. You have used this from day 1 when I first came here when people do not agree with you. Why is this?

It is fine with me if you live in your world and believe as you see but because some of us have broader views does not make it wrong.

Peace will not happen in the Middle East. This has been going on for Thousands of years - it's never going to end in a matter of months.

Ok you all are trying to confuse us..........how do you have a quote from Big Daddy that is not even listed on this thread or at least it does not show up on my computer.

The only comment I am going to make on your web-site listed, its hogwash on the executions of the State of Texas. The great State of Texas has been executing people way before Bush became Governor and have continued executing on a weekly basis during our current Governor Perry's term. The courts have sentenced these criminals to lethal injection, not Governor Bush nor Governor Perry. I just wish if people were going to publish an argument for or against something, use factual information and not promote such propaganda.

Some of us in Texas, some I said, not all, wish they would speed up the lethal injection process.

the United States is not all Christian, why are you all making so many references to Christianity? We are not the Christian capitol of the world, we have no set religion. We have a lot of Jewish and Islamic people.!

What is the proportion of religion in America?

Australia is the following (this is a couple of years old, but indicative I think)
Christianity 67.3%
No Religion 15.3%
Not Stated 11.6%
Buddhism 1.9%
Islam 1.5%
Hinduism 0.5%
Judaism 0.4%
Other 0.5%
Visitors 1.1% (overseas visitors polled)

I think the Vatican is a joke, they never denounced the terrorists who killed thousands in this country, attacks on our military ships, our Embassies, etc. Could the Pope be the antichrist? As far as other Christans who have called Bush the anitchrist, this is news to me, and if they did opinions are like.., well you know. I disagree with them regardless of who they are. The simple fact is the radical terrorists are going to kill and destroy and sooner or later we were going to have to defend ourselves, I prefer sooner, before they get nuclear weapons.

Where did I call anyone narrow minded? I can hardly respond to your attack about people disagreeing with me from day one because it is so poorly written. People do not agree with you either, so! I think if you search the entire Board you will find more people agreeing with me on various topics than not. Personal attacks are not necessary and in fact a violation of the Terms of Service you agreed to. Some of you have "broader views", in other words I have narrow views? And that does not make me wrong. I am not sure I follow your "broader" banter....

Agreed! How can common sense apply, when it apparently does not exist in the Middle East?
