this is really sad endeed. i have a hard time understanding people that would do this. i mean, this is horrific, getting an innocent man, just around father's day. these people never had the intention of letting him go. how could they?
i pray for Paul Johnson's family, this is something no one should go through, is very difficult for me to understand why these radical fuc&s hate us so much.

Not only is it very sad, I was down right disgusted. I can't remember ever feeling actually queasy seeing the news, but all the channels kept showing candid pics of him in various poses with his daughter, at the office, etc., then juxtaposed in captivity. I was surprised that I was actually getting grossed out watching the coverage.

nothing thats happening there ever was, is, and never will be justfied.... theres a reason people behave the way they do... im talking generally, not specifically.

Problem with this is that there are many "want-to-be" Al Qaida members that haven't come out yet. These fanatics now hear that the so called leader was just killed and now they are all pissed off and come out of hiding. So with the death of one comes 3 new members. I don't like how I think the outcome of this is going to be. Used to be Communism vs. Democracy...now it is Islamic Extremists vs. anything with Western interests. And there are an awful lot of Western interests. We can't cover all of our "bases" and the extremist see the weakness and exploit it. Beheading a living person gets underneath the skin and moral fabric on which Democracys are founded...the extremist know that and think that we will back off because of the effect it has on the general populous.
