crowded and expensive, but its always a fun time to experience different cultures........building memories and having life opportunities is what it is all about............
Only when I was kinda little. Tons of cool electronics and junk. If you're a typical guy, lots of cool things to look at. It's VERY expensive though. Food can be the same price as the US, but I think Japanese food here is expensive anyways.
It's a cool place cuz the cultural difference is very open and dramatic from US people. It's one of the few places where I'd be dorky enough to take along a camcorder and just film me walkign down the street.
Two weeks in Tokyo is plenty. I'd take some time to also hit up some other big cities there. Just for comparison's sake and so you can say you've been there. Like Kyoto, Osaka, etc.
i heard from my uncle who only had a layover in tokyo on his way to the phillippines that its really expensive and crowded. he said he'd never even think of vacationing there.
however....he said the phillippines is like maui at 1/10th of the cost. the people treat you like a god almost. you have to get to the right islands he said, but if you do get to the nice islands, there is no poverty whatsoever, and its really upscale for really cheap. i am gonna try and go this summer with him. his plane ticket was only like $700, then he supported himself and some girl he met there for two weeks on less than $1k, ie nice meals and trips to a bunch of the islands.

No thanks. My paradise is a 1 bedroom apartment with my girlfriend in a overcrowded bussling city. I dont know why but large cities with tons of stores and restaraunts have always attracted me more than the countryside or the ocean. I'll take Munich over Hawaii anyday.

It is nice to sit on the beach with a nice view of the blue water, and just drink Coronas all day long every once in a while.
Btw, Boston is a joke compared to Tokyo. Oh yeah, Boston is a joke compared to NYC, too.

Yea I'm laughing. Look at me. Boston has so much more character than NYC its rediculous. If it wasn't for Boston, you'd be sipping tea and eating crumpets. Unless you already do that with your boyfriend. Again I stand by my opinion. The beach is terrible. Solid waste of time, even on a vacation.

Lol, sorry dude. Boston just sucks.....
Oh yeah, and accusing me of gayness doesn't really get you anywhere. You think it does, but that's because you live in Boston and you don't know any better.
