Well, considering the fact that the general chat section gets barely any traffic anymore, and this supposedly being an urgent issue, I decided to post this here in the general car chat. I've been hearing rumors that according to the book of Daniel, the world is ending this Friday. Has anyone else heard about this? I personally believe that nothing is going to happen, but if random rocks do start falling from the sky, I'm going straight to my local BMW dealership and joy-riding whatever I can get my hands on. What do you guys think?

It depends what time zone you're in. eg. if the world ends on Friday in the US, then it would already be Saturday in Australia...so would our world have ended already?

if the world ends friday, then why am i goign to work so hard tomorrow? personally i think the world ending would be a pleasant surprise to an oh so predictable world. it will be like when i saw the movie perfect storm, and when they got in all sorts of trouble i rolled my eyes cause i knew things would be ok, but then at the end everyone died. totally sweet. i mean as morbid as it is, its a film, and it really shook things up for me cause i banked so heavily on them living and it being another "wonderful story."

if i sense the world ending (not like its gonna sneak up on me) i'm driving out into a field, and i'm just gonna turn my car on, let her idle while i lay quietly in the grass near by staring at the sky. (now thats romantic)




(and yes, i shouldn't post after 11pm cause i loose my mind)

That's too funny. I was just downtown and I consulted the shots of Daniel (JD). Is that the same as the book of?

Pessimists need a good swift kick in their can'ts. The world is a wonderful place to be. Get past the BS and look at life in motion..........Yeah soldiers are dying, STD's are up, Congress can't pass a bill, and there is a hole the size of mercury in the ozone. We are all going to die of Gonasyphilaids and cockroaches will inherit the Earth. So what is there to be so negative about. I say let me go play in a cigarette smoke filled hall with asbestos ceilings and lead based paint on the walls, while I play Russian Roulette with a Glock 9mm.

THE END OF THE WORLD IS NOT COMING TOMARROW!!!!!!!!!!! [headbang] (if it does, y'all can kick my ass on Saturday)

You can't play Russian Rulette with a Glock - you need a revolver! If you used a Glock, I don't think you would make it past the first trigger pull.

[confused] C'mon, you really think ANYBODY is that stupid?

I am aware of that fact....It was a satryical comment.....supposed to be funny, like putting pepper on the end of the shotgun you are about to stick in your mouth to make it taste better. It is Friday in Germany and I have not seen any indications that the END is near.
