Wondering what everyone is planning for the summer vacation time?

We have been giving it some thought and have a few ideas and plans. We are going to make a triip to San Francisco California to see the sights and some of our old neighborhood. We might just go from there down to Orange County and Mission Viejo to see old friends there. Later in the summer we are taking several steam train rides throughout the Pacific Northwest with family. We will be sure to get lots of photos for everyones enjoyment.

Honestly no clue. My parents were talking about going down to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. A bunch of friends and I are talking about taking a big road trip, down to south carolina, maybe to montreal, who knows. Either way it'll be fun! Of course I'd get pictures too.

I recommend Montreal. [thumb]

I "un-mothballed" my boat this weekend and spent time with the family chillin ' on Raystown Lake. Here's a picture of my rig (Bilstein shocks on the Suburban [headbang] [hihi]), kinda low res, took it with my camera phone.

We've got a house rented for a week later this summer at the Delaware shore, and more trips to the lake planned here and there.

we´ll have our vacation in september only. my girl is writing her diploma thesis right now and that will not be finished until late august. soooo...september only. we have framed 2 options. 1st we´ll go to singapore for some days, then to ko samui in thailand for some days do some island hopping there and then get back to singapore or bangkok. however, september is the beginning of rainy season, monsun. not really what you consider good conditions for vacation. we need to find out whether those islands are being struck by monsuns already then or later.
2nd option is....taadaaa: HOUSTON [hihi] [thumb] and then a trip to mexico...we´ll see. still some time to go...

Hey Kirby is that boat an Arriva? I had one of those once, the 2050 model with a 350ci GM I/O. Nice boats.
Good eye! Same company (US Marine/Brunswick), different brand name - it's a Bayliner 2050. Arriva was a sister brand to Bayliner. From what I understand, they used the same hull but step up the interior and engine features. I have the GM 305 V8 with a Mercruiser Bravo I outdrive.

I'm very happy with it. Bayliners are the Chevy of boats. If you take care of them they last forever, but they are not the BMW of boats.
