Skiing/boarding

Who here skis or snowboards. I do both and try to do it as much as i can. Just got back from a nice three day weekend in Durango, Colorado. SWEET!!!!!

My family and I are all skiiers. We got back from Vail, Colorado a few weeks ago (went from December 27th to Jan 3rd). It was excellent !!

I grew up skiing all through my childhood, then started boarding about 9 years ago. I try and go up to the mountains at least once a year for some heavy bowl hiking and boarding. There really isn't anything better than a huge cliff drop or a run of trees in my opinion. Oh, and I just might be the only boarder you'll ever hear say that they LOVE moguls... I LOVE MOGULS!!!

I've been boarding for about 8 years and skied for 3-4 before that. You'd be surprised at the standard of Australia ski fields...much smaller...but every couple of years we get awesome conditions. I know a guy who lives in New Zealand who sometimes goes skiing in the morning, then drives down to the coast and surfs that same afternoon!

I've been snow skiing all my life, and i don't just "ski" i really freakin shred once you get two boards under me.

i wakeboard and slalom ski as for water.

since i dont have any water (or snow), i have really missed it

sooo tempted to buy the bmw street carver, but i dont want to spend 290 on something i dont know if i will enjoy.... i need more input on the product, but there is hardly any on the internet.

Ya, don't watse your money on that. You can buy, or build your own for a lot cheaper. But i'm sure it would still be fun

Oops, my bad. I ment build your own skateboard carver. Just buy the parts and put it together. I wasen't reffering to the actual BMW one.

thats what i thought you meant... ive done a lot of research on it and agree. i just dont know if i would get anything else because ive looked at inverything in contrast.
it almost is as comparable to why you would buy a bmw over another car.
