anyone know of any good web sites where i can download some songs for free? i've been checking several sites without any luck.

I really don't know, try Kazaa Lite, I hear it's safer then regular Kazaa.

sometimes you can find new music, stuff you havent heard before that you would like by checking www.mp3.com
i found linkin park there about four years ago before they made it big.
if they dont have a download option, just listen to the song and search for it in your temp folder

i didn't realize it was illegal to download music. actually, i've read on these websites that its ok to download music but you have to erase it off your drive within 24hrs...and of course you're not suppose to duplicate the songs. [fake]

all the sites listed suck if you want to get good full albums. www.suprnova.tk is where you need to go. bit torrent is the best way to download anything, including music. suprnova is just one tracking site, they are all over the internet, you just have to look.
