i got tired from reading 3/4 way down of the first article, but what a crazy day! i could still remember my mom's tone, when she found out, and somber tone of the radio dj as i turned on the radio.

Good finds. I remember when I walked into my class that day at around 9:20AM (first class of the day, had a "free" before that) and I got this crazy vibe from everyone. Everybody seemed to know the deal but I had no clue at all...this girl behind me was crying quietly. Then the attendance lady came in with a letter and the teacher read it, and it explained what happened. The girl crying, her father worked at the World Trade Center and then later in the day, they announced that her father passed away from the incident.

Have you guys seen the article from that college professor who claimed all the victims of 911 were Nazis or something ridiculous like that? He was supposed to speak at a college about it too, but that obviously ended up not happening.

i remember reading a blip about it. something like the America's actions abroad caused 911.. (which may have some basis, but not the way this guy's trying to prove..) and some comparisons to Nazis, or some other crap that made no sense what so ever.

jus to clarify i was tired from reading because it was 2 in the morning, not because of the article. i was pretty long tho.. ^^;;

I saw a thing on the news about this guy - he actually did end up speaking in front of the college he works for. Lots of criticism from the people attending the college. After giving his "speech" he threatened to sue the college if they fired him.

What a jackass.

Thanks for the links.

I would like to see continuous news footage from that day, say from 8:30 until noon.

There were all sorts of reports flying in (that the state dept had been bombed, etc).

That professor's name is Ward Churchill.

His exact words were:

"As for those in the World Trade Center," well, really, let's get a grip here, shall we? True enough, they were civilians of a sort. But innocent? Gimme a break."

Churchill went on to describe the victims as "little Eichmanns," referring to Adolph Eichmann, who carried out Adolph Hitler's plan to exterminate all Jews during World War II.

He's one of the loons who think America is an "imperialst" nation, and sadly, he was tenured by Colorado University, and has many student lemming followers.

The girl crying, her father worked at the World Trade Center and
then later in the day, they announced that her father passed away
from the incident.
An interesting choice of words: "passed away" and "incident."

I would have used "was killed" and "attack."

Such as "her father was killed in the attack."

Seems people tend to forget.

(No offense meant, just an observation.)
