I don't think so. I believe it's protected. Besides, it's not like a wild dog or any thing that's "domesticated" and turns vicious. It was always a vicious killing machine. It did nothing wrong. They'll prolly just keep it away from humans and either keep it on their white tiger display or send it back to a preserve.

If you play with fire you're going to get burnt....

on the other hand, if you play with tigers you're going to get mauled...

I don't see this is as some huge tragedy but I guess I feel sort of bad for the guy. Aparently they treat their tigers quite well and they have lots of room and time to run around. If it was one of those people from the circus that mistreat those animals I wouldn't feel bad for them at all.

Her, I copy and pasted the last two paragraphs from that article:

The 7-year-old male tiger that attacked Horn was released Tuesday from quarantine after 10 days of isolation. Clark County officials said they determined it did not have rabies.

MGM Mirage officials said the animal, named Montecore, will continue to live at the Secret Garden, an animal habitat at The Mirage hotel-casino.

It looks like nothing's gonna happen to the tiger.

You have to be very careful with a wild animal that has gotten a taste of human blood. Once they have the taste the animal can never fully be trusted (like you could ever really trust one) again. That is one of the main reasons animals out in the wild (mountain lions, bears, etc...) are usually hunted down and killed one they have attacked humans. This tiger, however has been raised from a cub by Roy and the group and may not have as much of the wild tendencies of one in the natural wild, but this animal, after this attack, can and should not be trusted to the same degree as before. Whether or not they put the animal down has yet to be seen. One could only hope they put in some kind of preserve or sanctuary for animals of its nature.[:(]
