PC - GAMES.... What's good?

Ok... so my big present for the house this year is a new 1337 gaming machine. My tech guy built it for me with the sole intention of ROCKING the hell outta any and every game out there. One problem though... What the hell are some good PC games?!!!

I already have Half Life / Counter-Strike, MotoGP 2, Halo, XIII, and some other random stuff. However I've already played the hell outta those games. Any new "must have" games out there?

I think I have all the FPS that I need for awhile. Hell, Counter-Strike is the only one you really need anyway.[;)] .... so, I'm looking for action/adventure or murder/mystery puzzle type games. Maybe something scary! Myst type puzzle games take too damn long, but I do like problem solving so something similar might be ok if it's more fast paced.

So what's good?[:D]

Tom Clancy's Splinter cell, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 Raven Sheild. Those are a couple of really good ones. But i still like Halo better.

Vietcong, the game is boring once you beat it but the multipayer kicks ass. Also if you're into rally get RalliSport Challenge, it's made by Microsoft and the graphics are astonishing. Make sure you have a powerful video card for RalliSport, I had to go out and get a GeForce4 just to play the damn thing, anything less and the game will give you an error telling you to go to hell because your card sucks.

i thought my eyes were decieving me when i saw that....... Yea definately Max Payne 2, Need for Speed Underground, and I just started playing Star Wars Knights of the Old republic RPG, pretty good! [thumb]

If you do one good thing in your life, please DON'T BUY NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND!!!!!!!!! It has to worst handleing in any racing game i've ever played, and it's the riceiest, most repetitive game ever. Really the only thing going for it is the grafics. But if thats your preference, then go for it. But my suggestion is to not get it, and get a PS2 w/Gran Turismo 3.

Ok... So I'm loaded up on games for the next millennium or so.[hihi]

Here's what I ended up with...

XIII (awesome! awesome! awesome! game!)

UT2k3 (Very SWEET!)

Max Payne 2 (Fun!)

Rainbow Six 3 (Haven't tried it yet)

Sim City 4 (Enough fun for 2 lifetimes)

Oh and I got some murder/mystery puzzle type games for my girl too. I can't remember the names because really... that ain't my gig. ;)

I got the new PC for my girl to play games on too. So what did she get me??? An XBOX![:D]

I already have the PS2 and GameCube. Both I bought for specific titles. Now with the Xbox & PC... I have games coming out the yin yang!

Xbox wise... I've been rocking Halo, MotoGP2, and Project Gothem Racing 2. These will defiantly keep me busy for some time. Next title I want to pick up is Ninja Gaiden.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my success with the PC games. Thanks for all the help choosing titles! I think the g/f and I are set for awhile![;)]
