It goes to show you never really know your neighbor. I mean who would have thought someone here in the good old US would be involved (assuming he was), oh heck now I am being naive!

After that American was found fighting FOR the Taliban, I'm not surprised at hearing of Americans fighting against America no more.

That's simply crazzee. A few bad apples, I won't hold it against the bars of the Northwest, Big D. LOL.

But I would have thought, if anything, it would have been more of a Timothy McVey anti-government type who checked out of the military with a few screws loose and thinks the UN is invading the US. Those types seem to go for the extreme solutions like public floggings.

Whatever happened to our homegrown anthrax mailer? I gotta say, not surprising at all.

Released....

http://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/21/national/21lawyer.html

An Oregon lawyer arrested May 6 and held as a material witness in connection with the deadly Madrid bombings in March was released from custody on Thursday.

The lawyer, Brandon Mayfield, 37, was freed from a detention center in Portland, Ore., as Spanish authorities said that fingerprints found on a plastic bag near the scene of the bombings that killed 191 people belonged to an Algerian national, according to The Associated Press.

It will be interesting to see how this ends? I think the pressure of the 911 Commission, the media, etc. is pushing law enforcement to act, and acting without complete information can be dangerous.

911 commission and media pressure on investigation of a bombing in another country? Is this what Fox Commentary/After-News is saying...or Rush?
