And note the nuance by reputable journalists trying to do their job in the last home streach of the election (completely opposite of partisan coverage).....he said, she said, alleged, purported...gives these last minute accusation a little bit of a different spin. Tho, I still find it hysterical.
It's like the Push Polling by Bush/Rove against McCain in the last weeks fo the South Carolina primary. For those of you who don't know how it works, it goes something like this.....
"Ring, ring....hello?
This is so-and-so from such-and-such research company...may I ask you a few questions....
1. Do you plan on voting in the Republican primary?
2. Which candidate are you most likely to vote for?
3. Of the following issues which matter you most...blah blah blah
4. (throw in a few more questions to really make it appear legit)
5. Would you be more or less likely to vote for Senator Mecain knowing he has an illegitamate child from his service in Vietnam?"
Yikes. Hell no! Of course, it's not true, he adopted an Asian child long after he got out of many years in captivity in Vietnam, but that doesn't matter. Tell the fundamentalist tali ban conservatives and they're off burning crosses in people's yards. It's "polling" that "pushes" an agenda, disguised as a poll....."Push Polling" it's started in earnest with Atwater. Bush had a come from behind victory in South Carolina in 2000!
I'd love to give this Sheriff in Ohio a ring after it's all over and what convictions he secured against the crach-addict register-to-vote groups. LMAO.
