Well the day has come for me, I used to be a "vergin" when it came to traffic offences but now my cherry has been popped!!!! [bigcry]............I had just drove a friend back home at 7:30 in the "AM"[driving] , had my dog (Muffin) with me, the sun was coming up and the birds were churping....hahahh I was coming off the high way and sure enough as I'm coming off on to what I didn't know was a "50 KM POSTED ZONE" a cop jumps right out of a side street and grabs me doing 73 KM [paranoid]........I was sure I was gunna get Fcuked but the cop turned out to be an "okay" guy.....He dropped my speed to 60 KM and then told me not only was I speeding but my dog wasn't in a cage and that is like $200 fine..........[confused] I'm thinking "where the hell can you fit a cage in a 3 series BM...but anyway, then he's like "Oh nice plate covers" (I have the blue plate "Protectors") those are each a $150 fine[V].....thank God no one shyte in his Corn Flakes this morning cuase I would have been SCREWD!!!! He let me off everything and gave me $40 ticket with no points[thumb]. I figured since he was so nice I'll try to beg for him not to give me a ticket..."I know I know...begging is really low but I've had a clean driving record thus far.....Nearly 4 years" Anyway he said "Not a chance"[}:)] hahaahaahaha Worth the shot though.
Question?? If I get pulled over again for whatever will my speeding offence be in the police computer system??? Reason I ask is, I like the idea of being able to tell them I've never gotten a speeding ticket[^] !!!

*there sure are a lot of smilies in that post [;)]
*you spelled "virgin" wrong
*i have no idea what KM is, speed in mph like a regular person (ignorant american here) [:D]
*drive slower...or at least get a radar detector
*and have a nice day[thumb]

and miz that sucks!! I would save that ticket. That's like a cop writing a ticket for 4 miles per hour. [?|] Frame it or something [hihi]

Here is an easier conversion:

100km =

Take the km and divide it by 2.
100/2 = 50

Take 10% of the original km.
100/10% = 10

Add the two together.
50 + 10 = 60mph

*The smiles bother you?? that's sad to hear...I like the smilies...and they are there because I was very lucky to have gotten away with only a $40 ticket which could have been $650 ticket ...so your damn right there's a lot of smiles...lol

*My Bad with the spelling of "Virgin" ... That's one of the "cons" of writting while sleeping... lol, you make stupid typo's.

*I wish I could accommodate you by doing the MPH thing but since I'm from CA and like you I do not understand MPH that well , we use KMS sorry for the inconvenience.

*No one is immune to getting pulled over especialy if your just driving with out being aware of the speed....It happens to the best of us at any givin time ......So yes you can get the radar ..which is very illegal here and would probably cost you a hell of a lot of money in fines.....or you can "do the speed limit" If anyone here is a saint on the forum and doesn't go over at anytime....You deserve an award for proper driving and great patience ....lol I know there are people like that...C'mon don't be shy!! lol

In future, We've been on this great forum for a while now and I've had a lot fun being able to chat about anything. To keep it that way....I see no reason for anyone to point out silly things like typo's or spelling mistakes , unless there are points for spelling, it can easily be mistaken as that person just trying to make the other seem incompetent ......and I would hate to think there are people on this forum out to do things of that nature.

BTW. atleast my first ticket was a small one considering what it could have been......I learnt my lesson at a small cost...lol

Well I thought I new my roads too Push....But these cops are getting better at hiding......Maybe I would have seen him if I wasn't so damn tired....Oh well ......One thing to remember...never get too cocky or comfortable with your roads as far as speeding goes because chances are they'll find away to get you.......Good for you though on the clean record thus far.

I should point out that I to have a clean record still but I'm $40 poorer than I was yesterday ....hahahahah Oh well!!![eek]
