I have to say I used to have the highest respect for combat veterans. Then I saw the Graib prison pictures. Then the republicans showed me how combat veterans like Kerry are just traitors and communists who have the audacity to be in more than one party. I don't know what to think of veterans anymore.

The rebulicans have shown me that respect for the men and women who risk their lives in service to our country doesn't matter any more. The conservatives abandoned the Geneva convention and disrespected any veteran who doesn't agree with them. Now we know veterans rack up purple hearts by just making up stories. We know now that veterans are traitors and communists. I guess honor doesn't mean anything any more. I'm befuddled.

I agree. I let it go on during the elections, but now that it's over I think it's enough.
