hey everyone i know i haven't been around a lot. major traveling, in nov i went to South Carolina to basic training, then back to ny on leave then off to north carolina for a month now i'm in pensacola florida, the 1994 bmw 540 is going to be sold for around 10,000 because i'm gone and i apparently have no use for it unless my dad decides to keep it, well nowi'm in the bike market lookin at the Suzuki GSX-R 600 hehe 2004 the only think it's going to be my first bike but i don't wanna buy an old bike and then when i get used to it sell it and buy a new one too much of a hassle. BLAH so i'm gonna be taking classes and stuff hopefully i'll have the bike in like 3 - 4weeks or soheheh. well HI EVERYONe ANYTHING NEW????!?!?!

Sounds like you're gettin' along pretty good! Bummer on the Bimmer but a new bike should soften the blow. I've been riding for 25+ years, it's a blast. You mentioned you are taking a class, that's a really wise decision. Going with a 600 for a first bike is also great decision. Give it a year or two before you go for the 1000+ cc rocket. Have fun!

I hear buying used is better since you can easily find a really low mileage one cuz people get rid of them quickly.
