Judge dismissed charges with prejudice. DA can't bring charges again.

Kobe released a statement apologizing to the girl saying he "now" understood that she felt it wasn't consensual. This was done in exchange for her approval of the dismissal.

No money was paid to her by Kobe. Civil trial is still on. Kobe supposedly doesn't wanna give her a dime and is willing to take on a civil trial. Both sides claim there has been no talk of a settlement at all.

We'll see what happens next.

I agree, exactly why it is not a "Justice System", it is a "Legal System", there is no justice in the system.

Yeah, I read that "now" deal. Instead of "I'm sorry for what I did," it sounds like one of those "I'm sorry that you were offended" comments. LOL. Quite honestly, I don't know what to think in these he-said-she-said cases. We'll never know what happened in that hotel room, so any opinions are pure speculation. Everybody comes out of this ordeal losers, except Kobe's defense lawyers. The civil trial should keep Court TV in business for another five quarters.
