Hahaha, I've been thinking of hooking up speakers on my bike lately. Seriously. How awesome would that be? I could ride to class blasting my music, and consequently annoying everyone else.

And also, I think there's a difference between a nice soundsystem and a having your car riced out, imo.

Way back when (4 years ago), before my friend and I had cars, we had to wait outside the movie theater waiting for our ride. It was always the cool place for guys in lowered crapmobiles, usually with a rusted or bare primer panel or two, to ride around blasting their ghetto funky beats. We always joked about strapping some speakers on the back of a moped and cruising by blasting KC and the Sunshine band or something. Then someone actually did ride by on a moped and completely ruined our dream.

Three shootings in the past 2 days, typically 4 to 5 a week. A 15 y.o. girl died last night - caught in the crossfire between two shooters, they think she was an innocent bystander. 15 deaths this year so far. Most of it is drug related. All this in the city limits with a population of about 80,000.

Fortunately, I don't actually live in Reading, I live in the 'burbs.

Wow what a crime rate! When I was in Idaho we would go for more than a year at times without a killing. Here in the Seattle area it is a tad bit different though.
