Yes, I watched it. Yes, I'm a big fan.

Holy crap was this movie bad! It's confusing as hell cuz whoever wrote/edited it smushed all the scenes together. You can barely judge the acting since they barely had any time to act. It's like watching a movie on extra fast forward on a dvd player. You can't tell why something started or why it ended, with stuff missing in between. Thank God I read the book so I could understand what the hell was going on.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! It's barely worth renting. Mainly only worth renting simply cuz it's got so much hype so you should check out what it's all about.

i haven't had time to see it yet (effin school) but here is what i heard

1. it is amazing, it is much better than all three of the previous movies combined
2. it was editted in a way that you have to have prior knowledge of the book for things to make sense, and if you had read the books it makes perfect sense

I haven't seen it yet, I just finished the book about two months ago. I do plan on seeing.

I did read a review that said the movie tries to accomplish too much. I guess that is also what you are saying......

Yeah, basically, the film tries to do too much. Cept I also think they coulda done it had they added about 1/2 hour more of footage. Definitely need to have read teh book to know what the hell is going on. Still, I don't think a movie should require reading to understand it.
