When i see a squirrel in my way, i do not slam on the brakes. A cat, dog, or any animal that could be someone's pet i slam on the brakes and sometimes swerve. There are so many squirrels out here, in the spring you usually cant drive 2 blocks away w/out seeing 2 dead squirrels.

Do explain your reasoning behind this. I can't see how anyone would put a cats life over a humans life. I'm not saying cats and dogs and whatever should all be senslessly abused and killed, but come on, we didn't become the dominant species by being nice with all the animals.
