What's up with the server? I know it isn't my connection, everything else works fine. When I try to view threads, to post new threads such as now, or even just seeing the main home page....it takes a few minutes to load...like 3-4. I have never had this problem before. It has always been lightning fast when loading. I typed this whole message and the page still has (50 items remaining) to load.?!?

I have ocasionally noticed the same thing in the past week or so. Sometimes it seems to be when the banner ad is loading, but sometimes it seems like otherwise. I though it might have been my connection, but I did try loading other sites at the time and they popped right in.

very slow tonight. i gave up on it loading a few threads....let it be for 5 minutes and still just a white loading page. i live on a university campus...no one is here, i have enourmous bandwidth. i download anything in seconds, even view web pages fast....bmwboard has been the only thing giving me problems. it has to be the server.

hmm, this is so weird. I'm on cable and it seems to be fine. I'll try to reboot the server tonight to see if that helps.

I wish Dan! hehe

I have been very well, but very busy too. I haven't had much time to post as you can see. I have been trying to catch up, but it is hard when you miss close to a week of posts.

Do you have any window polish or know of some that is good? I have been very good at washing my car and keeping the hardened calcium spots off my windows. However, the last time I washed her (in the sun) I went inside for a little while (after I was finished drying it off with a chamois) and I come back out and my son had strayed the front of the car and the water dried on the windshield.

I have tried to scrub it off to no avail. I know some use a fine steel wool, but I don't want to use that. I am very very frustrated (I admit I haven't really had time to try other things to remove). I almost want to trade her in for an "05" M3. I know I am being anal, but that is how I get with my car sometimes. I have to get those spots off my windshield and I know there is a product out there to do it....

I bought some stuff at a glass shop once in a round short yellow and white tub, can't remember the name, but it took off years of hard water spots on a clear glass shower door of mine. It was great stuff, I will see if I can find it, but I am sure a glass shop will have some, it was like a paste wax.

It would be nice. I am truly pissed. I have taken a lot of time to make sure this very thing does not happen and then.....

I do have to admit that I am surprised, because when I wash my Passport and I dry it (but not with the chamois) I don't have this problem. The water in my area usually isn't hard either. I suspect my son also swung my washing mitt (with soap on it) and maybe that dried on there. I can see some spotting on the paint as well, but I am not as worried with that, because I will rid the paint of the spots when/if I ever get around to waxing her.

I told my wife I am going to trade it in a new one, but she thought I was joking until she noticed I wasn't laughing. I just broke 40k on in the ///M, but you could never tell from the exterior or interior. She is well taken care of. I have been driving the shit out of her the last couple of months and I really don't want too... Oh well, I guess I did buy her to drive her, but I would like to limit some miles.....

P.S. We need to hook again some time.

P.S.S. I finally met the person who used to own my car. Cool guy. He has some extra's he is going to give for my car. He traded in for an "05" Imola red on red. He dropped it and put some HRE's on with 305-inch rears. Mean looking car. He is going to let me drive to see how I like the drop.....
