CROSS LANES, W.Va. -- Blending barbecue, Mexican and wings, BMW The Ultimate Grill in Cross Lanes, W.Va., combines the best of three flavor staples into one concept restaurant that's proud of its friendly atmosphere.
Bob Booten and Mike Lemmons, operations directors of BMW, said the restaurant is a mixture of its sister eateries -- Buddy's All-American Bar-B-Que in Huntington and Fiesta Bravo in Ashland.
"They are both very popular restaurants, and you have two different groups with both of them. But all together we have a big party," Booten said of BMW.
"You get all that in one concept," Lemmons added.
Decorating the walls are colorful murals, like a red DeSoto driving across a cactus-filled country. Also, wood flooring and comfortable seating complement its character. Not only does the restaurant cater to different tastes, but it also looks out for different types of customers with its dining room and bar area.
"Our regular dining room is very popular with families," Booten said of the main dining area surrounded with booths and tables under low lights.
Adjacent to the dining room is the bar area equipped with several TVs for sports fans or those thirsting for a drink, like a Mucho Margarita or BMW Shocking Lemonade.
