I saw this on the news last night. Poor girl??? Nah!
What's the name of the show? Saturday Night LIVE?
If she wasn't confident/skilled enough to perform live she shouldn't be on the show. The network should be ashamed for even allowing lip sync performances on a show called Saturday Night LIVE, They all got what they deserved.

Granted she was lipsyncing to hide a non-singing voice, unlike the poor MV guys trying to hide a german accent.
That's how MV fell - trying to pull that stunt off at a live show, wasn't it? Right before they were supposed to do a live bit for an award show, and be given an award for best something or other.

I thought they were playing live and their record accidentally went on repeat..lol.

So true.If her singing career is over, i think we all know where she - like most female pop stars do - will be naked in some kind of magazine.

I personally think she looks much more attractive in the first picture. Isn't that what these girls play off of anyways? They sure arent getting paid for the music

She's trying desparately to distinguish herself from her sister. Stupid move really. She's only where she is cuz of her sister.
Also, it's no surprise that she was lip syncing. It's not any of those lame excuses her family comes up with. They're all lies. If you watched the MTV Music Awards, you saw her sing for real. Let's just say it wasn't pretty. When people say she's a no talent hack, they're not being mean and petty. It's actually the truth. She has no talent whatsoever. Her sister was bad on that show too, but it was technical singing. Jessica was just trying too hard basically. The basic voice was there, just controlled badly. Ashlee had nothing. No control and no actual voice.
