Any suggestions and ideas..

First of all I like to express my appreciation to the following forum members who took their time and replied to my question.

This is the current station, the BMW guy came and looked at my car and; he offered to repaint the spotted areas. And they estimated at the retail it will cast around $1,340 if I get it fixed some where else. But they are willing to paint it at one of their dealerships if I want to.
Now my question is; if I repaint my new car. Am I going to loss money if I needed to trade in or sell it in future? What you friends think what I should do now.

First thanks for the praise, we all just try and help each other out, thanks again. I think if you have your car painted by a reputable BMW shop, the same color, you should loose no value. If it is a good job and done well it has no negative effect. Make sure too that it is documented that it is a BMW re-paint and why.
