Florida is getting no breaks. I just had to postpone/reschedule a business trip to Florida due to the recent hurricane impact on my customer. While planning a new schedule I come across this on weather.com:

"A new tropical depression near the northern Lesser Antilles should become Tropical Storm Jeanne shortly. Tropical storm warnings already have been raised for Puerto Rico and the U. S. Virgin Islands as the depression appears to be gathering strength and preparing to churn toward the northwest."

The jetstream is in the prime position right now for storms to just plow into us. When they drift lower (Like Ivan was doing for a bit) they generally miss the North America Jetstream and slwoly romp into Honduras, or Mexico. As it stands, it's ripe for slamming US. [:(]

It's not the first time I've seen this many storms hit Florida (I'm an ex-floridian) but it's definately at or near the top for strength of storms reaching Florida.. A Class 5 is going to still be a hurricane HUNDREDS of miles inland.

She'll be garaged the whole time thankfully. I'm 'supposed' to be going on vacation with the family to Nags Head (NC), but this thing is supposed to be 'here' Friday when we leave, I'm debating sending them on, and then driving up seperate or something, or all of us waiting a day or 2 and riding it out.

And another one is brewing up to hit Florida from the east coast again?? [:(]
