Yeah, it's pretty cool. I zoomed in on my home too. I also found my old house in Idaho.

That's really cool. I found our farm in Idaho, though you can't really make the buildings out very well. Also found my house here in Illinois taken on the day before closing, and I'm pretty sure that it is my car that is parked on the street when we were doing our final inspection of the house (very sharp picture).

Once you get in the area of where you want to be just click on the map and it will zoom in until you can make out homes etc. You may have to continue to adjust by using the arrows, click on them to move the map.

yeah, thats the site i used to build my moms mom-day present...
they live on a lake that is mostly swamp and have tons of trails that they go through to watch wildlife. the trails can be seen faintly from arial photos, so i zoomed in all the way, and did screen shots and pasted them into my paint program. size of picture came out to 2.5' tall by 5' wide and almost 20 meg tiff file. brought it over to Kinkos where they lazer printed it and put it on elaminated foam board, total of like $120. Should look awesome framed on the wall of their new bar/pool room that over looks the lake! yay!

Check out where the big bridge ends crossing the river at the middle of the picture. Just above the spagetti junction, can you tell what that strange object is?

Cool! Hey, I found my house, well, where it will be. Here is the street going into my neighborhood as of June 1994. Looks like Mars hey. Street is on the far right, I cut most of it off somehow.
