To retro fit a tow hitch to an F15, requires the installation of a bmw control module and wiring harness to your x5's fuse and electrical control panel. There are a dozen wires that must be connected to the vehicle's electrical system to alter the functions of back up alarms and cameras and connect the turn signals, lights and brakes.
