Insight to BMW X6 Black Edition
BMW rolled out many limited editions like BMW X6 Black Edition, BMW X6 xDrive35i Performance Edition, and BMW M3 Coupe Edition. No doubt these models would sound interesting to a X6 enthusiast, but the reviews of these limited editions have not been very encouraging.
Engine Performance
Under the hood, X6 gets a 2,979 cc twin-turbo N54B30 inline-6 cylinder engine. It offers a horsepower of 326hp @ 5,800rpm and torque of 450Nm @ 1,500 – 4,500rpm. We have already seen a similar engine on a 740i. Thus, we don’t see anything new, under the hood, in the so called limited edition.
BMW X6 Black Edition Exteriors

The outlook is where the Limited edition model gains the brownie points. The exterior gets royal touches of black, which is sensuous enough to attract any auto enthusiast for a long time.
We also see an optional choice of two colours, which contrast the body’s appearance. The colours can be either Titanium Silver or Alpine White. The model is equipped with four 20 inches light alloy wheels that are designed in Y-Spoke style. The shadow line black window again adds to the external beauty of the model.
Interior Features
Under the roof, we see sports seat clad, which gets a rare combination of leather and Black Alcantara. Scuff plates and door sill finishers boost the uber look of the interiors. The dark theme is also exhibited by the Aluminium Flywheel Black finish.
Special releases like BMW X6 Black Edition are expected to deliver more than just good looks. Users always look for that extra ounce of muscle and power when they invest those extra dollars.
